The New York Celtic Medical Society has brought together physicians with Celtic connections since 1891. Membership is by application, reviewed by the Officers of the Society. There are two levels, with a separate application form for each.

Full Membership is open to graduates of a qualified medical or osteopathic school who are in good professional standing and have a connection to Ireland or the Celtic nations. Applications are endorsed by two Full Members before review by the Officers. Dues are $2, the sum members paid when the Society was founded in 1891.

Student and Trainee Membership is open to medical students, residents and fellows. It is free of charge and is the usual route into the Society for those still in training.

There is nothing to pay when you apply. The Kelly Circle, the Society's principal supporting tier, is named for our founder Dr James Kelly; if you would like to know more, say so on your application and the Secretary will be in touch.
