Cahill Healer Award
The Cahill healer award
For more than 100 years and three generations, the Cahill family embodied the spirit of the New York Celtic Medical Society through devoted service to patients, leadership within the Society, and a deep commitment to caring for those most in need. From a Bronx family practice serving an Irish immigrant community to global work in infectious disease and tropical medicine, the Cahills wove together medical excellence, Irish heritage, and multi-generational fellowship. In renaming our highest honor the Cahill Healer’s Award, the Society commemorates Kevin M. Cahill, John D. Cahill III, and IV and all they represent; compassion, collegiality, and a lifelong dedication to healing.
